Emerald Healthcare's Memory Care Center in Claremore, OK seeks a Cook to prepare nutritious meals for residents under dietary guidelines. You will work with the dietary team to meet special diets while maintaining a clean, safe kitchen in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities include following recipes, managing inventory, and collaborating with staff to ensure resident dietary needs are met. The role requires flexibility with shifts and weekend rotations in a skilled nursing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary certification preferred.
• Experience as a cook, preferably in healthcare or institutional settings.
• Ability to lift/move heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation and cooking according to planned menus and dietary needs.
• Follow standardized recipes and portion control for consistency.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards.
• Adjust meals to accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Assist in ordering and stocking food supplies and inventory control.
• Collaborate with dietary staff and healthcare professionals on menus.
• Record temperatures, portions, and dietary modifications as required.
