Responsibilities

• Meal Preparation: prepare and cook meals per planned menus, dietary guidelines, and resident needs.
• Menu Adherence: follow recipes and portion control procedures for consistency and quality.
• Kitchen Safety: maintain cleanliness and sanitation and proper storage of food items.
• Resident Needs: adjust recipes to accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences, meeting nutritional requirements.
• Inventory Management: assist in ordering and stocking food supplies and proper storage.
• Collaboration: work with dietary staff and healthcare professionals to plan and review menus.
• Record Keeping: maintain records of food temperatures, portion sizes, and dietary modifications.
• Training: participate in ongoing training on food safety standards and dietary trends.
