Job summary

Responsibilities include directing clinical and engagement activities, training staff on dementia topics, and coordinating family communications while upholding 1440 care standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license currently registered in the state.
• Prior supervisory experience in a care setting is required.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and write routine reports and correspondence.
• Able to communicate effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
• Ability to perform basic math operations and interpret measurements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Memory Care team and overall performance.
• Conduct evaluations and care conferences to ensure right care, price, and staffing.
• Oversee connections in Clinical, Life Enrichment, Culinary, and Settings.
• Train on dementia-related topics for staff.
• Host Memory Care support groups and Family Nights.
• Communicate with residents’ families and maintain regular updates.
• Align operations with 1440 care standards.
