Job summary

Silverado in Bellingham is hiring Caregivers to provide hands-on support for residents with Alzheimer’s and memory impairments. You’ll work with a compassionate team in a memory-care environment, focusing on safety, dignity, and daily living support.

We offer paid training, benefits, and strong internal mobility. Schedule includes Full Time AM shifts with opportunities for professional development and advancement within a nationally recognized provider.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, or other debilitating conditions (preferred but not required).
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English.
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.).
• Comfortable working around animals and pets.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, etc.).
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.
