Job summary

Senior Lifestyle is seeking a caring Memory Care Assistant in Albuquerque, NM to provide companionship and support to residents in daily living activities and memory care therapies. You will communicate with residents, families and staff with professionalism and empathy.

Responsibilities include helping with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, toileting, feeding and mealtime service, plus leading individual and group activities.

Qualifications

• Experience working with seniors with dementia; caring for residents in activities.
• Proficient English for communication and safety.
• CNA/CHHA license may be required by state regulations.
• Basic computer skills using Outlook, Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and support to Memory Care residents.
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, mobility.
• Lead one-on-one and group activities.
• Assist with mealtime, memory care laundry and basic housekeeping in memory care neighborhood.
• Ensure concerns are addressed with timely follow-up with families/staff.
• Maintain a positive, professional demeanor with residents, visitors, and co-workers.
