Job summary

Senior Lifestyle is seeking caring individuals to assist memory care residents with daily living activities, helping them maintain dignity and independence. You will provide companionship, lead one-on-one and group activities, and support residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding and mobility, including mealtime and light housekeeping within the memory care neighborhood.

A CNA or CHHA license may be required by state; proficiency in English and basic computer skills

Qualifications

• Experience working with seniors with dementia is preferred.
• Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties and communicate with staff.
• CNA or CHHA license may be required depending on the state.
• Basic computer skills; Outlook, Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and support to Memory Care residents.
• Assist with activities of daily living to promote independence.
• Lead one-on-one and group activities.
• Assist with mealtime, memory care laundry and basic housekeeping.
• Respond to resident/family/employee concerns promptly to maintain satisfaction.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents and colleagues.
