Job summary

Glen Haven Huntersville is a small, high-end elder care home seeking a CNA or PCA to deliver hands-on personal care to six residents. You will provide daily living support, follow care plans, and contribute to a calm, personalized routine in a close-knit team.

Responsibilities include medication administration, accurate MAR documentation, and clear communication with families and the care team. A NC CNA or med-aide qualification is required, with 3+ years of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be fully trained and cleared to administer medications in a NC adult/family care home.
• Must meet NC CNA requirements and current med-aide eligibility.
• Experience with memory care/dementia strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care (bathing, grooming, toileting, transfers) as per care plan.
• Offer companionship and participate in simple activities to engage residents.
• Monitor and document resident status; report changes per policy.
• Administer medications safely per MAR and five rights; document issues.
• Maintain clear, professional communication with care team and families.
