Job summary

Glen Haven Huntersville LLC seeks a CNA for the 2nd shift in a luxury 6-bed assisted living home in Huntersville, NC. You will provide personal care, monitor residents, and work as part of a small, trusted team.

The role emphasizes high-quality, individualized care with a close-knit staff. You must be a NC-credentialed CNA, able to administer medications from Day 1, and have 2+ years of direct care experience, including memory care.

Qualifications

• Must be a current CNA in North Carolina with NC CNA Registry.
• Must be able to administer medications on Day 1 and have completed NC medication training.
• At least 2 years of paid direct personal care experience with older adults.
• Formal training and hands-on memory care/dementia experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written care plans and document care.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care per the care plan.
• Assist with bathing, showering, grooming, toileting, incontinence care, dressing and safe transfers.
• Support a calm daily routine and encourage participation in simple activities.
• Monitor and document resident status; report changes promptly.
• Administer medications safely and accurately following the MAR and five rights.
• Communicate clearly with the care team and families; provide shift reports.
