Job summary

Silverado Berkeley is hiring Caregivers to provide hands-on support to residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other memory-impairing conditions. You will blend empathy with practical daily care, ensuring dignity and engagement for each resident.

Build trusted relationships with residents and families while following care plans and reporting changes to the nursing team. We offer competitive pay, benefits, paid training, and opportunities for internal mobility within this memory care

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with Alzheimer’s/dementia care preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English.
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working around animals and pets.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, etc.).
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.
