Job summary

Dial Senior Living in Batavia, IL seeks a compassionate Caregiver to provide personal care services under RN delegation. This entry-level role supports residents’ daily living activities and wellbeing without requiring a nursing certificate.

You will assist with bathing, dressing, meals, mobility, and socialization, while observing health changes and reporting them promptly to maintain a safe, dignified living environment. This is a full-time, on-site position with benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Knowledge of Basic First Aid

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services according to the resident service plan.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, eating, hygiene, mobility).
• Observe and report changes in health, safety, and wellbeing of residents.
• Respond promptly to call signals and emergencies and contact emergency support when needed.
• Support mobility with transfers, positioning, walking, and use of mobility aids.
• Assist with serving meals and bussing tables during mealtimes.
• Offer companionship and conversation to encourage socialization.
• Launder residents’ clothing, linens and towels; fold and return to residents.
• Complete minor housekeeping of residents’ apartments to maintain a pleasant home environment.
• Maintain confidentiality of information pertaining to residents and operations.
• Report on-the-job injuries to supervisor before end of shift.
• Other duties as assigned.
