Job summary

Oakmont of Santa Clarita is seeking a Care Provider for full-time evening shifts (2:00pm-10:00pm). You will assist residents with daily activities, ensure safety, and communicate changes to supervisors. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities within a supportive senior living community.

Experience is welcome but not required; training is provided. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a passion for caring for the elderly and strong communication skills with residents and

Qualifications

Experience preferred but not necessary; training provided.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
High School Diploma or GED.
Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
Written and verbal communication with employees, supervisors, physicians, residents and families.
Background check and health screening including TB tests.
Vaccination and PPE may be required per guidelines.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL): eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, continence.
Respond promptly to residents' needs while maintaining dignity and safety.
Report changes in residents' condition to a supervisor.
Maintain a safe, clean environment following safety standards.
Promote teamwork and cooperation with coworkers and other departments.
