Silverado is hiring caregivers in St. Charles, IL to support residents with Alzheimer's and dementia. The role blends empathy, reliability, and relationship-building to enhance daily living and well-being.

Position is Part Time, AM shift, Tuesday through Saturday, with anticipated pay of $19–$21 per hour. Silverado offers comprehensive benefits and ongoing training in a supportive, award-winning workplace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, or memory impairment preferred.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Effective communication in verbal and written English.
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working around animals and pets.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, etc.).
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.
