Job summary

Avalon Memory Care is seeking caregivers for immediate openings in Keller, TX. This role involves assisting residents with daily living activities, following care plans, helping with transfers, and maintaining a clean living environment. You will remind residents to take medications and ensure safe, compassionate dementia-friendly care.

Requirements include immunizations, background check, and being 18+. CNA experience is a plus but not required; lifting up to 50 pounds is expected.

Qualifications

• Must clear a criminal background check.
• Documentation of immunizations.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or a high school graduate.
• Experience with seniors is preferred; CNA preferred but not required.
• Be able to lift, carry, push and pull 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating and restroom assistance.
• Implement and support the resident care plans.
• Assisting residents in transferring from one place to another (bed to wheelchair).
• Provide a clean home for residents by cleaning bedrooms, kitchen and laundry as scheduled.
• Provide medication assistance by reminding residents to take medications and observing intake.
• Adhere to the Alcohol and Drug Free workplace policy.
• Other duties as required.
