Job summary

Avalon Memory Care in Houston, TX is seeking dedicated caregivers to assist residents with daily living activities and medication reminders. You will support care plans, help with transfers, and maintain a clean, safe home environment for memory care residents.

The role emphasizes patience, a positive attitude, and clear communication. Prior senior care experience is preferred; CNA is a plus but not required. Immediate openings with full-time hours are available at our facility.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or a high school graduate.
• Experience with seniors preferred; CNA preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, restroom).
• Support resident care plans and daily routines.
• Assist transfers (bed to wheelchair) as needed.
• Maintain a clean living environment (rooms, kitchen, laundry).
• Provide medication reminders and assist with medications as directed.
• Adhere to Alcohol and Drug Free workplace policy.
• Other duties as assigned.
