Job summary

Silverado Thousand Oaks is hiring compassionate caregivers to support residents with Alzheimer’s and memory impairment in a high‑quality memory care environment. This part‑time PM shift role emphasizes empathy, reliability, and building meaningful relationships with residents and families.

You’ll perform daily living activities, document care, and collaborate with the nursing team to ensure safe, dignified care. Training is provided and internal mobility is encouraged.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or educational equivalent preferred.
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or memory impairing conditions not required but preferred.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Effective communication in verbal and written English.
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working around animals and pets.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, etc.).
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.
