Job summary

Silverado Escondido, a memory care innovator, is hiring caregivers to provide hands-on support for residents with Alzheimer’s and other memory impairments. The role emphasizes empathy, reliability, and teamwork to create meaningful moments daily.

You will perform daily living activities, build relationships with residents and families, and maintain accurate care records while reporting changes to the nursing team. Training is provided and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions (preferred but not required).
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English.
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working around animals and pets.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, etc.).
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.
