Job summary

The San Francisco Campus for Jewish Living is seeking a full-time Caregiver for the Memory Care unit in San Francisco. You will assist residents with ADLs, promote safety and dignity, and follow individualized care plans on the AM shift (6:45 AM – 3:15 PM).

Responsibilities include assisting with dressing, grooming, feeding, mobility, documentation, and communicating with care teams, families, and supervisors. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification required.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and follow instructions in English.
• Ability to communicate effectively and perform basic arithmetic.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office or willingness to learn within 90 days of employment for documentation purposes.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, transferring, and toileting.
• Follow safety guidelines and proper lifting techniques.
• Transfer, transport, and escort residents as needed.
• Respond promptly to all call lights and follow care plans.
• Document resident status changes and medication reactions as observed.
• Assist with enrichment activities and light cleaning of resident apartments.
