Job summary

Senior Lifestyle seeks a dedicated memory care caregiver to provide compassionate companionship and support to residents. You will assist with daily living activities and lead group and one-on-one activities to promote independence.

Responsibilities include mealtime assistance, memory care laundry, and light housekeeping, while maintaining a positive, professional demeanor toward residents and staff. Experience with dementia preferred, English proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with seniors with dementia preferred.
• Proficient English to perform duties and communicate with team.
• May require CNA or CHHA license depending on state.
• Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Compassionate, kind, engaging and helpful demeanor.
• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Problem-solving skills for practical situations.
• Positive, friendly interactions with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and consistent support to memory care residents.
• Assist with activities of daily living and restorative interventions to promote independence.
• Lead and participate in individual and group activities.
• Support residents during meals and assist with memory care laundry and light housekeeping.
• Address resident, family, and staff concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain a positive, professional demeanor with residents, visitors, and coworkers.
