Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CNA/HHA/PCA certification preferred or as required by law.
• One year caregiving experience preferred.
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly required.

Responsibilities

• Assist memory-impaired residents with bathing, grooming, and dressing while promoting independence and dignity.
• Ensure compliance with regulations regarding residents’ rights.
• Maintain and document accurate care records.
• promptly report changes in resident condition to supervisor.
• Encourage resident participation in community activities.

Education

GED or high school diploma preferred

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) certification preferred

1 year caregiving experience preferred
