Job summary

The Waterford at Creekside, part of Sonida Senior Living, in Pensacola, FL, is seeking a Memory Care Aid to provide compassionate care across independent living, assisted living and memory care. Join a team leveraging advanced care technology and structured reporting to enhance resident wellbeing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• State certification/registration or graduation from a state approved nursing assistant program required.
• Preferred knowledge and experience in nursing or senior living.
• CPR certified and/or first aid certified preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs caregiving duties including measuring height/weight and vital signs.
• Assists residents with dressing, grooming, bathing, escorts and transfers.
• Assists with nutritional needs: setting dining tables, serving meals, ensuring proper fluids, substitutions when needed.
• Communicates skilfully with residents, including those with sensory losses or dementia.
• Receives and provides reports on residents' conditions to other staff at shift changes.
