Silverado Southlake, a memory care innovator, seeks a Nexus Specialist to plan and lead activities aligned with resident interests. You’ll support residents in the early stages of dementia, partnering with teams to create meaningful experiences.

The schedule is full-time, Tue–Sat, 8:30am–5:00pm with occasional evenings. Benefits include retirement match, health/Dental/Vision, and paid time off.

Formación

• HS diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with activity planning, older adults, or memory care is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills, creativity, and passion for resident well-being.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance expected.
• Willingness to work outside regular hours as needed.
• Fluent English communication is essential.
• Comfortable around animals.
• Physical ability to walk, bend, lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and lead daily activities and community outings for Nexus residents.
• Foster engagement through hobbies, social connections, and purposeful involvement.
• Support resident participation in volunteer opportunities and community partnerships.
• Assist with conflict resolution and promote a positive, inclusive environment.
• Collaborate on Nexus marketing events and provide photos for social media and family updates.
• Assist with pet care in the Nexus neighborhood.
• Maintain flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
