Job summary

StoryPoint in Shaker Heights, OH is seeking a Life Enrichment Lead for Memory Care. The role focuses on planning engaging life enrichment activities that align with residents’ social welfare and interests, serving as an expert for personal programming across the community.

You will support the Life Enrichment Director with planning, execution, and administrative tasks while ensuring resident safety and a high standard of care. Flexible scheduling and on-site responsibilities are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum one to three years related experience and/or training preferred.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule which may include evenings weekends and holiday hours.
• Compassionate towards the senior population.
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration of team.
• Proficient in general computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively support our 1440 culture and pillars
• Assist the Life Enrichment Director with the overall direction planning communication and execution of activities and life skills in the Life Enrichment department
• Supports the Life Enrichment Director with administrative tasks as needed
• Complete all tasks and functions while maintaining a high level of resident safety
• Support in proper setup clean up and upkeep of activity areas and community spaces
• Support transportation by attending outings coordinating relevant administrative tasks and upholding safety practices
• Adhere to and uphold all standards in the Employee Handbook
• Provide direction to Life Enrichment support roles eg LEA Shuttle Drivers regarding day to day activities and responsibilities
• Support functional responsibilities in absence of Life Enrichment Director as needed
