LCB Senior Living is hiring a Part-Time Memory Care Activity Assistant for The Residence at Selleck's Woods in Darien, CT. You will help plan and run activities for residents, supporting transportation, volunteers, and monthly communications.

The role emphasizes creativity, participant motivation, and strong English communication, with a focus on delivering compassionate care in a senior living setting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of planning activities for seniors and coordinating programs.
• Ability to motivate residents to participate in daily activities.
• Creative and proactive in enhancing the Activities Program.
• Clear English communication, both written and spoken.
• Physical ability to bend, lift and move as required by duties.
• Work independently and as part of a team using office software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing and implementing residence activities.
• Suggest ideas to improve and expand the Activities Program.
• Maintain a warm, professional relationship with residents and families.
• Arrange transportation and escorts for activities as needed.
• Support volunteer programs and store operations as required.
• Assist with newsletters and calendars and participate in training.
