Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor focused on improving quality of life.
• Ability to creatively adapt activities for varying cognitive and physical abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for planning and documenting activities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute activities such as music and art therapy, sensory stimulation, and physical exercises.
• Collaborate with the Activities Director to develop schedules that promote cognitive and social engagement.
• Lead group activities and one-on-one interactions with residents, offering support and encouragement.
• Maintain records of participation, observations, and outcomes for evaluation.
• Work with care team to ensure holistic, person-centered activity experiences.
• Communicate effectively with team members about schedules and resident needs.
