Benchmark Senior Living at The Atrium in Veronica Drive seeks a Memory Care Activity/Programming Coordinator to plan, schedule and lead engaging programs for residents with dementia. You will collaborate with families and local groups to improve life in the community.

Responsibilities include coordinating events, producing a monthly newsletter, and maintaining a robust activity calendar with a compassionate, resident-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Empathy and compassion in elder care settings.
• Ability to develop and adapt engaging activities for memory-impaired residents.
• Strong communication with residents, families, and staff.

The Atrium at Veronica Drive

The Atrium at Veronica Drive is looking for a Memory Care Activity/Programming Coordinator to join our team!

Schedule and Compensation

Sunday-Thursday schedule. $28 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating, overseeing, implementing and evaluating community programming to enhance residents’ experience, while developing and cultivating relationships with current residents, families and with community organizations
• Overseeing scheduling of events, trips, meetings, rooms, and group functions
• Developing, promoting, coordinating and overseeing community events
• Editing, producing and distributing a monthly community newsletter

Requirements

• Must have bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in knowledge of aging and dementia.
• Must be qualified by experience and training to develop a robust calendar of programs for elders and persons with dementia.
• Possess current CPR if required.
• Flexible Schedule- willing to work on weekends and holidays.
