Silverado is hiring a Resident Engagement (Activities) Assistant in Bellevue to bring joy, engagement, and purpose to residents’ daily lives through recreational programming. You will support memory enrichment activities, lead small group sessions, and assist with music and therapy activities.

The role requires a compassionate, creative team member with strong communication and reliability, and offers paid training and growth opportunities in a memory care leader environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent required.
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English.
• Reliable transportation with a valid license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s/dementia.
• Experience with older adults or memory care preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Director of Resident Engagement in planning and leading daily activity programs.
• Organize and facilitate memory enrichment activities for small groups.
• Encourage resident participation and celebrate achievements.
• Prepare materials and conduct research for recreational programs.
• Support music and occupational therapy sessions.
