Job summary

Silverado seeks a Resident Engagement (Activities) Assistant to bring joy and purpose to residents in a memory care setting. Lead daily activity programs, organize group activities, and support therapy sessions with empathy and creativity.

Schedule is Full Time, AM shift, Sunday - Thursday, 8:30am - 5:00pm. Anticipated pay range is $18 USD - $20 USD per hour, with benefits including 401(k) matching, health/dental/vision, FSA, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and more.

Qualifications

• Effective communicator in English (verbal & written).
• Reliable, punctual, and able to meet attendance standards.
• Willingness to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Resident Engagement in planning and leading daily activity programs.
• Organize and facilitate memory enrichment activities for small groups.
• Encourage resident participation and celebrate achievements.
• Prepare materials and conduct research for recreational programs.
• Support music and occupational therapy sessions.
