Peregrine Senior Living is seeking an energetic Activities Assistant to join our Memory Care team in the greater Albany region. This role supports the Director of Activities by delivering engaging resident programs tailored to individual interests and needs, and by helping orient residents to activity offerings.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of three years’ experience in adult recreation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience working with adult recreation.

Responsibilities

• Works with Director of Activities to deliver creative and exciting resident activities meeting individual needs and interests within the community.
• Assist with orienting all residents to activity programs.
• Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and make decisions; be compassionate, honest and reliable.
• Ability to work under pressure, resolve conflict, prioritize tasks, and follow through with ideas.
• May perform reception duties as needed.
