American Senior Communities is seeking an Activity Assistant for Monticello Healthcare on a part-time basis. The role focuses on enriching residents’ lives through engaging, age-appropriate activities and a caring, supportive presence within memory care settings.

You will work closely with the care team to create a joyful environment, prioritize residents' well-being, and contribute to a compassionate care culture that aligns with C.A.R.E. values and the facility’s standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates compassion, accountability, relationships and excellence in daily care.
• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months’ related experience or training; or equivalent.
• State-approved Nursing Assistant training or CNA competency program (can be provided by the community).

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement memory care activities for residents.
• Engage residents with warmth, empathy, and age-appropriate interaction.
• Collaborate with the care team to support residents’ daily needs.
