Job summary

American Senior Communities is seeking a Memory Care Activity Assistant to enrich the daily lives of residents at Coventry Meadows. In this role you will foster a warm, engaging atmosphere and support cognitive and physical well-being.

You will create engaging activities, interact with residents with patience, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safety and holistic care. A high school diploma or CNA training is preferred; teamwork and empathy are essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to residents, family members, customers and staff.
• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
• Successful completion of a State approved Nursing Assistant training or CNA competency evaluation program.

Responsibilities

• Enrich residents' lives with warmth and care, supporting memory care activities.
• Create engaging, age-appropriate activities for residents with varying abilities.
• Collaborate with the care team to support residents holistically and safely.
