Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation in Illinois seeks a Memory Care Coordinator to lead resident programming in Memory Care and ensure alignment with the Embrace pillars. The role focuses on developing engaging activities and training staff to support a compassionate, person-centered approach.

You will oversee daily operations in Memory Care with the Memory Care Director and Health & Wellness team, delivering 5-7 innovative programs daily and driving satisfaction across residents and families.

Qualifications

• Level of Formal Education: Associate’s Degree preferred.
• Area of Study: Social Work, Recreation Therapy, Psychology, or related field.
• Years of Experience: 1-3+ years in relevant care settings.
• Special Certifications: Activity Director Certified, Certified Dementia Practitioner, or Therapeutic Recreation Assistant.
• Language Skills: Fluent English for duties and communication.
• Skills and Ability: Proven Leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead 5-7 programs per day and assist in planning, coordinating and evaluating resident activities.
• Provide education, training and hands-on support to community staff with management collaboration.
• Promote Embrace Philosophy and implement the six pillars of Embrace (Wellness, Enrichment, Creativity, Connection, Challenge, Teamwork).
• Oversee daily memory care operations in partnership with Memory Care Director and Health/Wellness team.
• Maintain high resident, family and staff satisfaction while operating in a fiscally responsible manner.
