Merrill Gardens at Carolina Park is seeking a Senior Living Memory Care Activities Director to support residents within a community focused on dignity and individuality. This role emphasizes dementia-friendly activity planning, family communication, and coordination with the Garden House team to ensure engaging daily routines.

The ideal candidate has at least two years in dementia care, a high school diploma or GED, and is prepared for background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required (minimum age 18).
• Two years’ experience in dementia care is required.
• Senior living experience is preferred and background checks are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational performance in the Garden House Memory Care setting.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain accurate records per policy.
• Coordinate daily activity schedules, training, and communications with families.
• Plan dementia-appropriate activities, social events, and outings for residents.
• Order supplies, set up activities, and provide daily status reports to leadership.
