Zusammenfassung

Silverado Encinitas is hiring a Part Time Resident Engagement Assistant (AM) to bring joy, engagement, and purpose to residents in memory care. You will help plan and lead daily activities, organize memory enrichment sessions, and support therapy activities in a compassionate, team-focused environment.

Required are a high school diploma or GED and strong English communication. Driver’s license and clean driving record are needed for attendance and travel within the organization.

Qualifikationen

• Effective communicator in verbal and written English.
• Willingness to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
• Active, physically able to walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Experience with older adults or memory care preferred.

Aufgaben

• Assist the Director of Resident Engagement in planning and leading daily activity programs.
• Organize and facilitate memory enrichment activities for small groups.
• Encourage resident participation and celebrate their achievements.
• Prepare materials and conduct research for recreational programs.
• Support music and occupational therapy sessions.
