Job summary

Country Meadows is seeking a Memory Care Activities Coordinator to work closely with Assisted Living residents showing signs of Alzheimer’s. Pay starts at $19.00-$21.00/hour, with opportunities to earn more based on experience.

You will deliver a memory support program to help slow disease progression and collaborate with the team to promote residents’ quality of life, dignity, and independence. This full-time, on-site role follows a rotating schedule (9:00am-5:00pm with alternating

Qualifications

• Experience in Memory Care required
• High School diploma or GED
• Valid Driver’s license
• Ability to perform the physical tasks required in this type of role
• Have the ability to understand and speak English at a level which allows the safe, efficient performance of the job.

Responsibilities

• Invite and encourage residents to attend memory support meetings and activities.
• Plan and facilitate a daily morning meeting for memory care residents.
• Lead stimulating cognitive exercise.
• Maintain required documentation of resident participation in programs.

Being a Memory Care Activities Coordinator allows you to work very closing with our Assisted Living residents that are showing signs of Alzheimer’s. Along with our Manager, you will deliver a memory support program to try and slow down the disease. If you are looking to make a difference and have a genuine impact on someone’s life, this is the role for you! You will work closely with our support staff to promote our residents’ quality of life, dignity, and independence.

• Full-time 9:00am to 5:00pm, every other Wednesday 11:00am to 7:00pm, with every other weekend and every other holiday OFF
  • Week one: Work Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday (11:00am-7:00pm), Thursday, Friday
  • Week two: Work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday
• Experience in Memory Care Required

Memory Care Activities Coordinator Responsibilities:
