Job summary

Bridges by EPOCH at Norwalk is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to develop and implement engaging activities for residents in our memory care assisted living community. This part-time/per diem role offers meaningful work helping seniors stay active and connected.

You will support the Activities programming team, engage residents daily, and may assist other departments as needed. A compassionate, reliable, and creative spirit is essential, with some computer knowledge and customer service

Qualifications

• Creative, enthusiastic and outgoing; able to work independently.
• Dependable, reliable and highly motivated.
• Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.
• Some computer knowledge and strong customer service.
• Experience working with families in a senior living environment; preferred.
• Experience in Senior Living preferred.
• Music, theatre or exercise instruction skills a plus.
• Willing to transport/escort residents on community trips.
• Operating a large van is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implements a wide array of programming for residents and keeps them engaged.
• Flexibly supports other departments and completes required paperwork.
• Supports Navigation Club Director with life enrichment programs for residents with mild memory loss.
