Job summary

Complete Care at Severna Park is hiring a Memory Care Activities Assistant for the 2nd shift on a part-time basis. The role includes supervising nursing staff, conducting rounds, and providing education to staff, residents and families.

Experience in memory care or recreation is preferred, and applicants should demonstrate the ability to work independently and ensure compliance with regulations. High school diploma is required, and every other weekend scheduling is expected.

Qualifications

• Prior experience supervising clinical staff is required.
• Experience in memory care or recreational activities preferred.
• Ability to work independently or with a team.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise the nursing staff on the assigned shift, monitoring medications and patient care.
• Conduct nursing rounds on each unit multiple times during the shift.
• Provide education to staff, residents, and families as needed.
• Ensure staff perform duties in accordance with guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Administration.

Now Hiring: Memory Care Activities Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Directly supervise the nursing staff on assigned shift by monitoring the distribution of medications, blood draws, and other elements of patient care.
• Conduct nursing rounds on all each unit multiple times throughout the shift.
• Provide education, as needed, to staff, residents and resident family members.
• Ensure staff are performing all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned by Administration

Qualifications:

• Prior experience managing clinical staff and coordinating with residents/families required
• Ability to work independently or part of a group.
• Computer knowledge.
• Previous long term care experience is required
• Memory Care or Recreations experience preferred

License:

• High School Diploma
