Job summary

The University of Washington is seeking a Research Coordinator to support memory and brain wellness research in the Neurology department. You will conduct interviews, administer neuropsychometric tests, and manage data collection across participant visits while ensuring compliance with study protocols and GCP guidelines.

You will collaborate with clinicians and researchers, organize study workflows, and contribute to IRB submissions and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science or humanities and one year of relevant experience.
• Equivalent education/experience may substitute for minimum qualifications.
• Ability to follow detailed research protocols accurately and independently.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with cognitively diverse research subjects and families.

Responsibilities

• Perform research interviews and administer neuropsychometric assessments for participant visits weekly.
• Complete study forms, including consent, data collection, and database tracking.
• Document and update policies to ensure GCP-compliant research execution and data quality.
• Manage scheduling, recruitment, workflows, and quality control for data collection.
• Assist in patient protocol monitoring, ensuring safety and protocol adherence.
• Assist in biospecimen collection, processing, and transfer.
• Participate in meetings and help prepare IRB submissions and amendments.
