Nurse Next Door is seeking caregivers in Katy, Texas to provide in-home care and companionship to clients. Responsibilities include meal preparation, personal care, and managing client safety.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of caregiving experience, excellent communication skills, and a valid driver’s license. The position includes comprehensive training and opportunities for personal and professional growth.

• Current Criminal Record Check must be obtained.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship and personal care, errands, transportation, etc.
• Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer
• Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly
• Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly
• Service the Katy, Memorial, Fulshear, Brookshire, & Jersey Village areas (or at least one of these areas)
• Looking for all visit times (Monday-Sunday) week days, nights, (overnights are limited) and weekends. Mostly day shifts.

Requirements:

• 1 year previous caregiving experience
• Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English, other languages are an asset
• Current Criminal Record Check
• Must be able to legally work in US to apply for this position
• Valid driver’s license is required
