Job summary

Veolia Water Technologies in Minnesota is seeking an Electro-Separations Machine Operator to set up, operate, and clean membrane production equipment. You will follow strict EHS rules, perform chemical handling with PPE, and enter data into SAP and logs to ensure traceability.

You will move materials, monitor product quality, and troubleshoot equipment to minimize scrap, while supporting calibration and maintenance tasks. The role requires teamwork and adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Willingness to work with chemicals (solvents, acids).
• 1+ years as machine operator/maintenance/chemical handler, or 6+ months as membrane operator.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to wear PPE (glasses, gloves, hearing protection, safety shoes, respirator if needed).

Responsibilities

• Observe all EHS rules and participate in safety activities.
• Set up, operate, and clean membrane production equipment.
• Handle and mix chemicals with PPE.
• Enter production data into SAP and logs accurately.
• Move raw materials and finished goods to correct locations.
• Monitor and document quality and adjust processes for specs.
• Troubleshoot to identify root causes and minimize scrap.
• Follow Lock-out/Tag-Out and Confined Space procedures.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment and perform routine tasks.
• Assist in process changes and new product development.
