Job summary

Entegris is seeking an Engineering Technician to join the Metal Membrane team in Bedford, MA. You will operate equipment and support membrane development, testing, and process improvements while collaborating with the engineering group on validations and pilot runs.

The role requires at least a high school diploma and 3+ years in manufacturing/R&D, with strong mechanical skills and proficiency in MS Office. A resourceful, detail-oriented mindset and safety compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; trade/technical education preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work safely with powdered metals.
• 3+ years in manufacturing, process engineering, or R&D environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to support membrane development and process-related issues.
• Perform membrane characterization and testing per defined procedures.
• Troubleshoot routine process and equipment issues; escalate complex problems with clear documentation.
• Support engineering to assist in processes, validations, quality and efficiencies.
• Assist with new product development with NPI and R&D for pilot work.
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance to ensure reliability.
• Collect data to determine root cause and inform changes.
• Draft, review, and update SOPs for common tasks.
• Ensure compliance with Entegris quality systems, safety standards, EH&S requirements.
• Participate in audits, safety reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
