Job summary

Veolia is seeking an experienced engineer to support the production of water filtration membranes at our membrane manufacturing facility. We are looking for a highly motivated mechanical, industrial, or chemical engineer to contribute to a growing technology and help meet the rising demand for clean water.

You will coach and develop process engineers, partner with manufacturing, R&D, and quality teams, and drive continuous improvement projects, safety, quality and cost goals, while advancing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering from an accredited college or university
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing supply chain
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in manufacturing supply chain
• Experience with manufacturing of water filtration products
• Experience in process control
• Green Belt Certified
• Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes and provide efficient solutions
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to handle diverse activities simultaneously
• Ability to work in a matrix organization
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and contribute to team projects
• Strong project and team leadership

Responsibilities

• Coach, mentor, and develop process engineers on the team
• Provide engineering support for the operation of multiple production lines, including day to day troubleshooting, performance tracking, etc.
• Own the value stream(s) creation and updates within your respective scope
• Collaborate and interface with manufacturing, R&D, quality, maintenance, sales, marketing, and other internal and external support teams to meet goals
• Collect and analyze data to drive improvements that impact safety, quality, cost and productivity
• Create and update bill of materials, routings, and new part numbers
• Drive process improvements by identifying, developing, and leading continuous improvement projects
• Troubleshoot equipment/production issues - mechanical, chemical, electrical, controls
• Develop, write, and review new process documentation
• Potential for on call or extended hours support
• Aid in digitization efforts and rollout of capital projects
• Lead training and development of process engineers
