Kurita America, Inc. is seeking a Membrane Lab Technician I to execute daily lab operations, track orders, and assist with membrane testing under the manager’s direction.

This entry-level position requires basic lab exposure and an ability to handle lab duties including data collection and cleanliness. The role involves maintaining safety practices, coordinating with team members, and supporting analytical chemistry tasks such as titration and ion chromatography.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of lab exposure.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, or related science.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and use basic power tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Log, track, and check in incoming samples and equipment; prepare membrane samples for testing.
• Draft data reports and organize digital files, photos, and records.
• Perform daily tasks and facility upkeep per supervisor.
• Coordinate with team members on required tasks.
• Follow SOPs and safety guidelines to ensure proper techniques.
• Maintain a clean lab environment and assist with membrane dissections.
• Conduct wet chemistry procedures including titration and ion chromatography.
