Job summary

COFAM- Corporation Of the Fine Arts Museums is seeking a Membership General Full Time Clerical role in San Francisco, CA. You will deliver high-touch member service, process memberships, and support revenue goals across multi-channel communications.

Responsibilities include handling inquiries via phone/email, updating CRM records, coordinating with internal teams, and contributing to knowledge base materials. Hybrid schedule after 6 months with evenings/weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Two years of customer service experience, preferably at a nonprofit.
• Experience with multi-channel member communications and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent member customer service via phone, email, and mail, handling new, renewing, upgrading, and gift memberships.
• Use CRM databases to assist members, update information, and fulfill benefits.
• Coordinate with reception, store staff, and call center to resolve payment issues and discrepancies.
• Inform members about benefits, exhibitions, events, promotions, and policies.
• Draft accurate written communications regarding benefits and policies for members.
• Identify FAQs and contribute to scripts and training materials for the knowledge base.
• Support gift memberships and assist with membership revenue goals and events.
• Track activities and report to the Membership Supervisor; maintain files and supply inventory.
