Job summary

BJ's Wholesale Club in New York seeks a customer-focused member services and sales teammate. You will promote membership programs, help members with purchases, and contribute to a fast, friendly checkout experience.

You will work as part of a team that values attendance, integrity, and a drive to meet goals while delivering Gold-standard member service. Weekly pay and comprehensive benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Prior front line/customer service or previous sales experience preferred.
• Basic math skills.
• Computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Promotes BJ's value proposition regarding acquisition, retention, perks, and the Member experience.
• Converts potential members by actively and effectively pitching all membership programs in accordance with company policies and practices.
• Sells BJ's membership products to potential new and existing members with high energy and determination.
• Drives toward goal achievement, defined by business established benchmarks and results.
• Delivers superior customer service to Members by serving as a first line point-of-contact regarding membership, credit card applications, general questions, issues, merchandise returns, exchanges, product look up, and pick-ups.
• Assist with BOPIC (Buy Online and Pick Up In Club) orders for members.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of this job.
