Scissors & Scotch, a barbershop and bar in Parker, CO, seeks a Membership Sales & Guest Experience Associate to be the first and last impression for every guest. You’ll grow the business through relationship building, membership sales, and outstanding hospitality in an upscale setting.

Ideal candidates love talking to people, enjoy sales that save clients money, and can efficiently operate our POS and booking system. Flexible scheduling and growth opportunities are offered.

Job description

Membership Sales & Guest Experience Associate

Scissors & Scotch is a barbershop and bar. It's upscale but not uptight. S&S caters to clients from all walks of life looking for an amazing haircut plus that "Cheers" experience where everyone knows their name. This isn't your typical front desk position. You'll be the first and last impression for every guest while helping grow the business through relationship building, membership sales and outstanding hospitality.

These are the requirements for this position:

• You're a good person
• We live by our Core Principles. The first one is Do The Right Thing. It's simple but it weeds out jerks. We don't want jerks and neither should you. If you're a jerk, don't apply.
• You LOVE meeting, talking to, and connecting with people
• Your whole day is about people. The more you make clients feel special, have awesome interactions with them, make them laugh... the better you'll do.
• You enjoy sales, especially when the sale saves the client money and truly makes sense.
• We are membership based and we are proud of it. Our membership is a phenomenal deal but part of your job is explaining that to people consistently.
• You can work a computer better than your parents.
• We have a POS system. We book appointments. We sell stuff. If opening the browser requires you to ask for help, this isn't a great fit.
• You want to work in an upscale environment
• This is not the place to wear pajama bottoms to work. We deal with successful and awesome clients. Our team is also successful and awesome. There is no room for sloppiness, laziness, or showing up to work in last night's dirty clothes.
• You want to grow personally
• Not every person at Scissors & Scotch is going to be with the company for life. However, our goal is to give you meaningful training, expose you to incredible people, and help you leave far more skilled and marketable for wherever life takes you. Ideal Experience

Experience in one or more of the following is preferred:

• Membership sales
• Boutique fitness (Orangetheory, Club Pilates, StretchLab, Perspire etc.)
• Amazing Lash, European Wax Center, Massage Envy, tanning salons, or similar membership-based businesses
• Luxury hospitality or concierge
• Retail sales
• Customer service

Pay

• $17.50 - $18.50 hourly based on experience, + tips
• Monthly performance bonuses up to $1-$3 per hour worked
• Our top performers earn an additional $150 - $450 per month through our bonus program
