Membership Sales Assistant Manager-Pinehurst Country Club-Exempt

Overview

In conjunction with the Membership Sales Manager, this position is responsible for Membership Sales across all categories, including transferable Charter & Property Privilege, Social, Sports, Classic, Premier, Signature, and others. The primary goal is to develop and execute marketing and sales strategies to maximize memberships and programs, achieving the Club's sales plan for initiation fees and dues.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required, with at least two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience in sales prospecting is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the Pinehurst Property Transfers into memberships.
  • Create and maintain a pipeline of prospects within a 60-mile radius.
  • Assist in achieving sales goals and objectives.
  • Prepare collateral and documentation for membership programs.
  • Engage with Board Members and prospective Members to communicate offerings.
  • Represent the Club in community activities to promote membership.
  • Collaborate with staff and management to enhance member satisfaction and awareness of membership needs.
  • Participate in staff meetings and support team efforts.
  • Handle member/guest complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain professional appearance and be flexible to work at various locations, including holidays.
  • Manage change of designee, prepaid dues, and other fees effectively.
  • Grow new and current members into sponsors, positively impacting member experiences.
Additional Details

This role supervises the Pinehurst Country Club Administrative Assistant. It requires effective communication skills, basic mathematical ability, reasoning skills, and physical ability to perform duties, including lifting up to 25 pounds. The work environment is primarily moderate noise in an office setting, with outdoor activities in varying weather conditions.
