Job summary

The Salvation Army Kroc Center in Norfolk, VA seeks an energetic Membership Manager to lead sales, engagement, retention, and customer service initiatives. This leadership role oversees the Member Services team, develops strategies to attract and retain members, and fosters partnerships to create a welcoming community hub.

The role requires strong leadership, data analysis, and the ability to drive growth while ensuring exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced community center setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing or related field.
• 2+ years of experience supervising employees in a customer service environment.
• Strong leadership, customer service, sales, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to build relationships, analyze data, and motivate teams to achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead membership recruitment, retention, engagement, and collections efforts to achieve organizational goals.
• Supervise, mentor, train, and develop Member Services staff while fostering a culture of excellence in customer service.
• Build relationships within the community through outreach, tours, events, and partnerships.
• Analyze membership trends and performance data to identify opportunities for growth and enhanced member experiences.
• Manage membership operations, POS systems, financial processes, and escalated member concerns with professionalism.
