Job summary

Nashville Public Radio is seeking an experienced Membership & Communications Manager to produce high-quality email and other communications materials and create innovative membership recruitment and retention strategies for two large dynamic international organizations.

The role combines marketing, membership, conferences and education promotion, website and social media management, and database maintenance, with travel as needed. A collaborative culture with strong benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with three years of experience in a communications/marketing environment.
• Be proactive & ambitious, nimble & tenacious, creatively gutsy, take pride in excellence.
• Ability to learn to build upon established best practices and pitch in at any level.
• Learn to contribute to ongoing systems development and suggest improvements for efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality email and other communications materials, including content generation, graphics, and editing of collected copy from members.
• Create innovative membership retention strategies and manage renewal communications/campaigns.
• Promote conferences and online educational sessions through email and other channels; manage registrations.
• Monitor client websites for dated information, run analytical reports, and suggest improvements.
• Maintain hygienic databases, enter new contacts, run reports, and contribute to improvements.
