Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• A passion for helping others.
• Cash handling experience in financial institution or retail.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provides high quality member service and retention activities by accurately performing transactions ranging from deposits, withdrawals, payments, transfers, money orders, and cashier’s checks.
• Provides appropriate advice, counseling, and solutions to member inquiries and problems; works with other staff to meet needs across departments.
• Supports a sales and services driven culture and complies with regulations and internal controls.
• Opens and prepares department for daily operations; processes night depository, express drop and mail transactions as required.
• Performs departmental audits and teller audits; verifies signatures and account ownership as needed.
• Closes and balances the branch, maintains vault security, and balances coin shipments.
• Meets personal performance goals and builds relationships with members through outbound and sales lead calls.
• Responsible for opening and maintaining membership accounts and providing Call Center support as needed.
