Auto Club Enterprises is seeking a friendly, service-driven Member Specialist to join our Austin branch. You will assist AAA members with insurance, membership services, and billing, delivering courteous, accurate support.

The role includes paid training, a supportive team, and opportunity for skill-based pay increases and career growth within the organization. Typical hours align with branch operations, with one Saturday per month.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in customer service/sales environments is preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, and organization skills.
• Ability to work overtime and travel locally when necessary.
• Proven ability to exceed sales or service quality goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to AAA members in branch and over the phone.
• Assist with insurance, membership, and billing-related inquiries.
• Support agents and team members with routine and advanced duties.
• Develop insurance leads for office sales agents and life specialists.
• Work branch hours: Monday through Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm, one Saturday per month.

This is an exciting entry level position in our branch network and ideal for candidates interested working in a teamwork environment and interfacing with AAA members by providing insurance and membership services support.

In this role you will:

• Be provided with the training you need on an array of AAA products and services to interface with members with confidence and help you meet your individual and team cross-selling goals.

• Provide exceptional service to members in branch and over the phone regarding insurance policies, membership and insurance billing, and other services for members including passport photos, planning road trips, and cashiering duties.
• Perform routine and advanced duties in support of agents and other team members.
• Develop insurance leads for office sales agents and life specialists.
• Be expected to be available during our branch hours of operation: Monday through Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm.
• Must be flexible to work one Saturday per month.
• We are closed most weekends and most holidays.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Prior experience in customer service/sales environment, insurance, retail sales, banking, and hospitality.
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work overtime
• Ability to travel locally when necessary
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office basics
• Proven ability to exceed assigned sales or service quality goals
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Adaptability to change and ability to meet deadlines

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or GED
• Successful completion of background check and drug screening
• Ability to obtain for Property and Casualty License
